Passage Planning can begin long before actual departure. A GPX route is generated with popular apps such as PredictWind and uploaded into the system. The creates a passage and tells us origination, arrival and general geographical area. As the passage approaches (or while underway) updates to the route can happen whenever necessary.
Once underway NAVOPLAN's Emergency Assistance Coordination services kick in and are available for requested assistance or active monitoring. Should conditions change or support be necessary, the crew can engage NAVOPLAN's First Mate decision support system for real-time answers to passage, crew or vessel questions. This robust and intelligent service is included all NAVOPLAN offerings.
