NAVOPLAN is a cloud-based application that offers robust, worldwide data access—available 24/7. The only requirement is internet connectivity. Given that most cruisers today use STARLINK internet service, NAVOPLAN is designed to fully leverage the service.
Surprisingly, Starlink does not provide accurate geolocation data (latitude and longitude). To address this, we’ve developed innovative solutions using off-the-shelf hardware, allowing us to monitor your vessel with minimal user intervention. This enables our Emergency Assistance Coordination service for MAYDAY events and to gather local conditions while underway needed for NAVOPLAN's First Mate.
